For my final Masters program project, our five-member cohort worked with The Virginia School for the Deaf and the Blind in Staunton, VA. The scope of our project included a complete redesign of the website as well as creating several pieces of content (videos, social media campaigns, and setting up a quarterly newsletter). I led the website redesign and helped create a user guide to serve as a resource for the client’s reference. Through organizing and consolidating content across the site, our team was able to reduce 65+ pages of content down to about 30 pages of content. This not only made the website less cluttered, but also allowed us to organize the remaining content pages by target audiences.
